Description:
BlazerWorks is seeking passionate and qualified Special Education Teachers for on-site contract positions in various school districts across the Philadelphia area. These roles allow you to work with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels and caseload types. Positions are available for the current school year, the summer semester, and the 2025–2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
Deliver differentiated instruction in self-contained, resource, or inclusion settings.
Modify curriculum and teaching approaches based on student goals and learning styles.
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Apply effective classroom and behavior management strategies.
Communicate regularly with families and team members to support student growth.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience with diverse learning needs preferred.
Understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and BIPs.
Ability to adapt instruction to meet various student needs.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
