Key Responsibilities:

• Instructional Planning: Evaluate student needs and design individualized instructional plans that align with each student’s IEP.

• Curriculum Adaptation: Modify general curriculum and teaching materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students with disabilities.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to ensure continuous academic development.

• Collaboration: Partner with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote coordinated educational efforts and student success.

• Behavioral Support: Maintain a positive classroom environment using effective classroom management techniques and behavior intervention strategies.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Strong background in special education, with experience developing and implementing IEPs.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to manage a classroom and provide tailored instruction to meet individual learning needs.

• Previous experience working in an inclusive or elementary school setting is highly desirable.
