Speech Language Pathologist

 

Description:

E-Therapy, a pioneer in special education, is seeking a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to K-12 students in Virginia. The role focuses on improving students’ speech, language, and communication abilities through assessments, individualized therapy plans, and collaborative interventions with teachers, parents, and educational teams.

E-Therapy provides full support to clinicians, including assistance with licensing in Virginia and opportunities for cross-licensing to expand eligibility. This position allows SLPs to work fully remotely while making a meaningful difference in students’ communication skills and overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results

  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support communication goals in the classroom and other settings

  • Use evidence-based techniques and activities in therapy sessions

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed

  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students’ speech and language needs

Education & Certification:

  • Current SLP licensure in Virginia required (or willingness to obtain with E-Therapy support)

  • Relevant credentials for providing speech-language therapy services in PreK-12 schools

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with school-aged children, ideally PreK-12

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively

  • Familiarity with evidence-based speech therapy techniques and documentation standards

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $47/hour starting rate, commensurate with experience
