Sr. Monitoring Analyst

Akkodis, a global leader in workforce solutions and a part of The Adecco Group, is seeking a Sr. Monitoring Analyst for a direct-hire opportunity with a reputable client based in Winston-Salem, NC. This hybrid role demands strong analytical skills combined with technical expertise in monitoring systems to support and enhance financial transaction platforms.

The selected candidate will design, configure, and maintain advanced monitoring systems, analyze operational data, and respond to incidents, ensuring maximum platform performance and availability. You'll play a pivotal role in leveraging observability tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and configure monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, SCOM, and SolarWinds.

• Design dashboards and reports for operational insights and real-time system health.

• Analyze log files and data streams to identify patterns, trends, and potential system issues.

• Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, providing Level 3 support and coordinating with vendors when necessary.

• Participate in release implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises.

• Collaborate across technical and business units to optimize monitoring strategies and improve automation workflows.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, data analysis, and monitoring of distributed financial services systems.

• Expertise in monitoring tools: SCOM, Dynatrace, Splunk, and SolarWinds.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of Power Platform and AWS environments.

• Experience with BI tools: SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with observability dashboards such as Dynatrace Data Explorer, Splunk Dashboards, and ServiceNow Event Management.

• Familiarity with data mining, trend analysis, and large-scale log file parsing.

• Knowledge of industry-specific platforms and trending visualization tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies in complex datasets.

• Adaptability to high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
