Staff Product Designer

Description:

Grow Therapy is seeking a Senior or Staff Product Designer to join its expanding Design team to help revolutionize mental healthcare through high-impact, user-centered design solutions. This senior-level role is geared toward a design expert passionate about 0-to-1 product development and user experience innovation in a fast-growing, mission-driven startup.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of mental health technology by working directly on consumer-facing products with massive scale. You'll partner across departments—including Engineering and Product Management—to craft meaningful, elegant solutions that improve accessibility and care in mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead strategic product initiatives from concept through execution using design thinking methodologies
🔹 Design and prototype complete user experiences with precision and finesse across all interactions and transitions
🔹 Establish and maintain high-quality design standards across the platform, ensuring alignment with the Grow Therapy brand
🔹 Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to bring breakthrough ideas to life
🔹 Influence team culture and design best practices while mentoring junior designers
🔹 Contribute to the evolution of design systems, workflows, and internal design leadership

What They're Looking For:

• 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in high-impact or consumer-facing products

• Proven record of leadership on complex, strategic product initiatives

• Mastery of tools like Figma and Photoshop, with a refined eye for detail and aesthetics

• Proficient in prototyping, responsive design, accessibility, and system-level thinking

• Brand-oriented mindset with strong motion design sensibility and micro-interaction awareness

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment

• Experience with Conversational AI is a plus

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across disciplines
