The Assistant Manager plays a key role in store management, ensuring top-tier customer service, efficient operations, and a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including hiring, scheduling, and supervising associates.

• Support the Store Manager in achieving financial goals, managing inventory, and maintaining cost efficiency.

• Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences through quality service and product standards.

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to team members, fostering professional growth and motivation.

• Enforce food safety and hygiene standards per Panda Express and Serve Safe requirements.

• Handle conflict resolution, maintain high morale, and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.

• Participate in a comprehensive 3+ week Store Leadership Training Program to prepare for successful store management.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Flexibility to work within a 50-mile radius and adapt to varying shifts, including weekends.

• Serve Safe certification required.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate kitchen equipment safely.

Work Environment:

The role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen and service area environment, often with high heat, noise, and limited space. Candidates must be comfortable working efficiently under such conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
