The Guitar Center Company, a global leader in musical instruments and creative retail, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead Store 468 in Beaumont, Texas. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the retail store to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
Lead, coach, and mentor store associates and department managers to reach their full potential.
Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates to build a strong, diverse team that aligns with company values.
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and maintain positive Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
Manage P&L accountability, ensuring store financial goals are met or exceeded.
Create staff schedules that align with forecasted sales and maintain optimal coverage during peak hours.
Maintain Guitar Center’s high standards of merchandising, cleanliness, and organization, creating an engaging and inspiring in-store experience.
Foster a culture of inclusion, creativity, and respect, promoting teamwork and personal development.
Implement effective performance management, providing consistent feedback and recognition.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and asset protection protocols.
Attend meetings and training sessions to stay informed on company updates and retail best practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience operating or managing within a retail or customer-facing environment.
At least 2 years of experience leading teams in a supervisory or management role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by retail operations.
Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 5% for meetings and training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Retail, or related field.
Strong understanding of retail systems and processes.
