Description:

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Store Manager In Training to lead retail operations at their stores. This role supports the mission of ending unemployment by overseeing store production, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The trainee will gain comprehensive leadership experience while driving the success of retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve income, revenue, and production goals.

  • Manage Assistant Store Managers, Production Team, and Donation Attendants.

  • Monitor inventory, process donations, and ensure store cleanliness.

  • Partner with community organizations to promote the Goodwill mission.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.

  • Build and manage high-performing teams, including staffing, performance management, and development.

  • Cover shifts and transfer to different stores as needed for business requirements.

  • Model Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, Innovation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

  • Strong English reading and speaking proficiency.
