Strategic Account Executive

 

Description:

Rubrik, a leading data security and resilience company, is seeking Strategic Account Executives in Seattle, WA to drive growth and expand market presence across the Pacific Northwest region. This role is designed for high-energy sales professionals who excel in acquiring new logos, developing new opportunities, and building strategic customer relationships. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of helping organizations achieve resilience against cyberattacks, insider threats, and operational disruptions, while also expanding Rubrik’s customer base and partnerships.

In this role, you will own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to negotiating and closing deals. You will leverage Rubrik’s Zero Trust Data Security™ platform to demonstrate value to enterprise clients and build strong relationships across mid-enterprise accounts. Working alongside Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, and cross-functional teams, you will focus on pipeline generation, customer expansion, and meeting ambitious sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute territory sales plans to meet and exceed quotas.

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent daily prospecting and opportunity generation.

  • Identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities while expanding existing accounts.

  • Present and demonstrate Rubrik’s solutions in complex IT environments.

  • Collaborate with partners, distributors, and VARs to enable rapid growth and market penetration.

  • Provide market insights and feedback to leadership on emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales (IT Infrastructure or SaaS Security).

  • Strong record of winning new accounts (“hunter” mentality).

  • Consistent overachievement in quota and revenue targets.

  • Experience working with channel partners and distributors.

  • Strong ability to sell complex solutions to a variety of industries.

  • Highly driven, results-oriented, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $138,150 – $174,700 annually ($11,512 – $14,558 monthly).

  • Commission-based incentives through Rubrik’s Incentive Compensation Plan.
