Moen, a brand under Fortune Brands Innovations, is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to lead and expand its category presence within national plumbing, water mitigation, and non-traditional trade channels. Based in Deerfield, IL with a hybrid work model, this high-impact role demands a customer-centric approach to account management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will serve as a key growth driver by establishing and managing national account relationships. The position focuses on identifying new opportunities, guiding partnerships from inception through long-term execution, and collaborating internally to ensure flawless implementation of solutions. You will also represent Moen at industry events, trade shows, and other key engagements while supporting sales enablement, pricing structures, and channel alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive growth of Moen’s category expansion within national plumbing, water mitigation, and specialty channels.
Lead relationship-building efforts and strategic planning with national accounts, creating mutually beneficial solutions.
Collaborate on commercial agreements, pricing models, merchandising, and supply chain planning across teams.
Partner with Field Sales to align local implementation with national strategies.
Maintain account visibility using CRM and customer engagement tools.
Build and manage trust-based partnerships with distributors and key account contacts.
Navigate organizational structures to influence stakeholders and foster strategic alignment.
Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events, capturing opportunities for future engagement.
Manage promotional and travel budgets effectively and responsibly.
Maintain up-to-date administrative and sales reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).
At least 10 years of proven success in sales, account management, or related field.
Experience delivering client-focused, strategic solutions in a B2B environment.
Ability to travel 60%+ of the time, including availability for occasional non-standard hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in wholesale, plumbing, or construction industry channels.
Familiarity with trade shows, channel marketing, and field collaboration.
