Ulta Beauty is seeking passionate and talented Stylists to join their team in Woodland, CA. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing high-quality hair care and beauty services. This role requires creativity, customer focus, and a strong passion for the beauty industry. You will engage with guests, consult on their hair care needs, and recommend tailored services and products while supporting the store’s service and sales goals.

Key responsibilities include performing a wide range of professional services such as haircuts, hair design, coloring, styling, keratin treatments, extensions, perms, updos, blowouts, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable). Stylists are expected to meet weekly service and sales goals, demonstrate strong product knowledge, and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Beyond technical expertise, Stylists at Ulta Beauty are ambassadors of excellent customer service. You will develop lasting guest relationships, educate customers on products and loyalty programs, collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams, and actively contribute to a welcoming, professional salon environment. Maintaining compliance with all safety, sanitation, and state board regulations is essential.

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology license (required)

• Previous salon experience preferred

• Proficiency in haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, extensions, and makeup

• Strong communication and customer relationship skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions:
This role requires frequent mobility, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs. You will also frequently bend, kneel, and reach while working. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for candidates with disabilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $17 per hour base pay
