Ulta Beauty, one of North America’s largest beauty retailers, is seeking talented and passionate Stylists to join its team in Cedar Hill, Texas. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional salon services and creating an elevated guest experience. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the beauty industry, with strong customer service skills and an aptitude to learn and grow in a dynamic retail salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, texture treatments, blowouts, updos, perms, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).

• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals (average target: $800) by delivering outstanding service and recommending appropriate products.

• Conduct professional consultations with guests to understand their needs and suggest suitable services and products.

• Demonstrate and recommend professional hair care and makeup products to drive sales.

• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams to create a well-rounded guest experience.

• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing guest engagement.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and salon cleanliness, complying with state board and company standards.

• Attend mandatory trainings, meetings, and continuous professional development programs.

• Follow Ulta Beauty’s dress code, loss prevention, and operational policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology license.

• Proficiency in salon techniques or willingness to develop skills in haircutting, hair coloring, styling, texture treatments, and other services.

• Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical & Work Conditions:

• Ability to stand for long periods, frequently move, bend, kneel, twist, and lift up to 10 lbs.

• Frequent use of hands and tools to perform technical services.
