Subject Matter Expert

Way2Class is hiring a highly experienced AI/ML Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME Reviewer) to contribute remotely to two graduate-level certificate programs. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in reviewing and validating AI-enhanced engineering course content, ensuring technical depth, accuracy, and real-world relevance. This role is critical in supporting the quality of educational materials tailored for advanced learners in systems engineering and AI integration.

This part-time, remote opportunity offers flexibility, with an expected commitment of 6–8 hours per week and approximately 30 hours of review work per course. The position runs through August 31, 2025, making it ideal for professionals looking to contribute their expertise in a meaningful way while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate technical content across 8 graduate-level courses focused on AI, ML, and Systems Engineering.

• Ensure alignment with modern industry standards and methodologies, particularly in:

  • Systems Engineering & Architecture

  • CI/CD, SysML/UML

  • MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, Azure ML)

  • GenAI (LLMs, GANs), Data Engineering Pipelines

  • Cloud-native software lifecycle architecture

  • Governance frameworks (RBAC, secrets management, SOC-2)

• Provide technical validation, constructive feedback, and content quality assurance.

• Collaborate with instructional designers and course developers as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 9–10+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML and systems engineering

• Strong professional portfolio including talks, open-source contributions, or academic/public research publications

• Familiarity with industry standards such as INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288, and TOGAF

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with educational content in an EdTech setting

• Knowledge of cloud-native systems and AI integration practices

• A passion for improving advanced learning experiences
