Description:

Claire’s, a leading high street fashion retailer with over 3000 stores worldwide, is looking for a Part-Time Manager to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store sales targets. The role involves driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and inviting store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving sales goals.

• Open and close the store when other management is absent, ensuring safe and legal operations.

• Deliver sales through friendly, efficient customer service.

• Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.

• Demonstrate Claire’s products and assist customers with product queries.

• Assist in processing deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.

• Perform ear piercing (training provided).

• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Some high school education required.

• At least 1 year of retail experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Customer service-oriented.

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

• Ability to stand during shifts and maneuver merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and reaching.

• Ability to operate POS systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly wage between $9.50 and $11.00, based on experience and location.

• Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision insurance, bonus eligibility, 401(k) match, vacation, sick leave, and paid leave.

• Part-time employees receive voluntary welfare plans, 401(k) match, vacation, sick leave, and paid leave in states where required.

• Sick leave accrual in Washington State at 1 hour per 30 hours worked.
