Description

We are seeking a Supervisor to oversee the recruitment, training, and certification of foster homes within our organization.

This role focuses on ensuring high-quality care for children in foster programs and excellent customer service for foster parents.

The Supervisor will assess applicants, supervise staff, and collaborate with teams to provide optimal care for children in various foster care programs, including family, therapeutic, and medical foster care.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff with an emphasis on assessment, case collaboration, timeliness, and compliance.

Collaborate with intake and case planning teams, as well as external agencies, to provide holistic care.

Review and approve foster home certifications and recertifications, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Conduct screenings and clinical assessments for potential and certified foster parents.

Track data and collect documentation for foster homes pending certification.

Perform chart reviews to ensure compliance with guidelines.

Assist with recruitment and retention strategies for foster parents.

Support foster parent training and compliance efforts.

Required Skills

Handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.

Strong clinical assessment and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to meet contractual requirements and manage targets.

Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related tools.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with foster care systems or related platforms such as Evolve.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations.

Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, including evenings and weekends when required.

Compensation

Pay Range: $50400-$72000
