Description:
EPS Global LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support their sales team by providing essential supply chain data, analysis, and insights. This position will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely product availability, and improving overall supply chain efficiency to meet sales demands and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support and Collaboration:
Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for the sales team, proactively supporting and addressing inquiries related to product availability, lead times, and order status.
Collaborate closely with sales to understand customer demand forecasts, identify potential supply chain challenges, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
Provide regular updates to the sales team on inventory levels, backorder status, and changes in product availability that may impact sales.
Participate in sales meetings to provide supply chain insights and contribute to sales strategies.
Inventory Management:
Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts of key networking products.
Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models, considering sales trends, seasonality, and other factors.
Monitor key inventory performance metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, fill rates, days of supply) and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely and accurate purchase order placement and track order status.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data from various sources (e.g., ERP system, vendor reports, sales data) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain regular reports on key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery, order fulfillment rates, and vendor performance.
Provide weekly backlog reports to key customers, including CRSD and delivery.
Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support sales initiatives and decision-making.
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) to present findings clearly.
Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements to supply chain processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Document and maintain supply chain processes and procedures.
Work with other departments (e.g., warehouse operations, logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and inventory management software.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
Knowledge of networking products and the electronics distribution industry.
