Description:

Bergdorf Goodman, a historic icon of New York luxury fashion since 1901, is seeking a Support Manager for Shipping & OMNI Fulfillment to manage and elevate its operational excellence in eCommerce and client order fulfillment. This role is central to ensuring the seamless delivery of a premier shopping experience that aligns with the prestige of the Bergdorf Goodman brand and the broader Neiman Marcus Group.

As the Support Manager, you will oversee daily shipping operations and direct the fulfillment processes for online and BG Client Connect orders. You’ll act as a workflow architect—strategizing, organizing, and enforcing the highest quality standards in packaging, accuracy, and timely order dispatch. You’ll be expected to cultivate a high-performance team that thrives on precision, efficiency, and superior customer service. This position requires cross-departmental collaboration, particularly with Selling and Support Managers, to maintain synchronization across store operations, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily shipping operations and fulfillment processes with efficiency and attention to detail.

  • Establish and communicate daily operational goals while coordinating workflow for support associates.

  • Prioritize, plan, and execute shifts to maximize shipping productivity and accuracy.

  • Ensure high standards in packaging and labeling across all orders.

  • Address and resolve issues related to shipping errors, claims, or lost packages.

  • Oversee the fulfillment of all pending orders within 24 hours and regularly update the Operations team on progress.

  • Partner with other managers to identify merchandise locations for online orders and ensure seamless coordination.

  • Train, develop, and motivate team members to uphold BG’s service excellence.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing and daily coverage to meet operational benchmarks.

  • Foster a customer-centric team culture driven by accuracy, speed, and professionalism.

  • Attend strategy meetings and contribute to cross-functional planning initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience in operations management, with specific background in OMNI channel fulfillment strongly preferred.

  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously.

  • Excellent project management and timeline execution skills.

  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and a strong sense of accountability.
