System Administrator

Description:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with experience in GitHub migration. The ideal candidate will have GitHub administration or DevOps experience, with a focus on migrating repositories to GitHub Cloud and reconfiguring GitHub-specific settings. The role involves handling repository and pipeline validation, repointing, and reconfiguring pipelines like Jenkins, ADO, or Codeway. The candidate should be familiar with pipeline deployment and GitHub integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate repositories to GitHub Cloud.
• Reconfigure GitHub-specific settings, including organization/repository setup, secrets, environments, packages, projects, webhooks, and GitHub Apps.
• Handle repointing and reconfiguring pipelines (Jenkins, ADO, Codeway).
• Validate repositories and pipelines post-migration.

Essential Skills:

• GitHub Migration skills.
• GitHub administration, DevOps, or basic GitHub with pipeline deployment experience.
• Experience with reconfiguring GitHub-specific settings.
• Experience with pipeline repointing and reconfiguration (Jenkins, ADO, Codeway).
• Ability to validate repositories and pipelines after migration.
