The company is seeking a Channel Systems Engineer 2 to join its U.S. Service Provider team. This role involves leading technical collaborations with channel partners, delivering pre-sales support, providing product expertise, and ensuring successful solution implementation. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely while helping partners grow their technical capabilities and expand their cybersecurity practices.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will play a critical role in designing cybersecurity solutions, providing partner training, and ensuring seamless integration of Palo Alto Networks products into partner ecosystems. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for assigned channel partners.

• Collaborate with focus partners to develop strategic business plans that align with Palo Alto Networks’ objectives.

• Provide technical pre-sales support, including product presentations, live demonstrations, and architecture design sessions.

• Deliver hands-on training and enablement sessions to ensure partners are fully equipped with product and solution expertise.

• Offer technical assistance during and after implementation, acting as a liaison between partners and internal technical support teams.

• Develop and deliver customized security solutions that align with customer and partner business needs.

• Stay up to date with product roadmaps, cybersecurity trends, and emerging technologies to advise partners proactively.

• Create and maintain technical guides, documentation, and webinars for partner enablement.

• Collaborate with product management to share partner and customer feedback for product enhancement.

• Maintain accurate records of partner engagements, opportunities, and technical support activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• 6+ years of experience in Partner Solution Consulting, Pre-sales Engineering, or similar roles within the IT industry.

• Proven expertise in one or more of the following: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security (Private/Public), SOC/Endpoint Security, or SASE.

• Strong understanding of channel sales models and experience with resellers, distributors, and system integrators.

• Hands-on experience in selling or implementing SaaS and cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.

• Proficiency in designing and architecting complex multi-product cybersecurity solutions.

• Ability to effectively influence stakeholders and gain buy-in for technical recommendations.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in complex, multi-layered enterprise sales cycles.

• Experience working with large service providers and managed security service partners.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical implementation challenges.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary Range: USD 198,000 – 272,000 annually
  (USD 16,500 – 22,666 monthly, depending on experience and location)

• Additional Compensation: May include restricted stock units (RSUs) and performance bonuses.
