Systems Engineer / Architect

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer / Architect with strong expertise in Linux systems and AWS cloud compute architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, securing, and managing enterprise-grade systems in regulated environments.

Linux & Systems Engineering
Strong expertise in Linux OS, filesystems, package/patch management, and OS hardening
Advanced troubleshooting skills in Linux OS and basic networking
Experience with enterprise systems engineering and security best practices
Cloud & Architecture
Proven experience architecting AWS solutions, with a focus on compute resources
Experience building OS base images using AWS Image Builder or similar tools
Hands-on experience with AWS (boto3)
Automation & Scripting
Ansible
BASH shell scripting
Python
JSON / YAML
Terraform
Git
DevOps, Security & Compliance
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with CVE management, vulnerability scanning
Knowledge of Artifactory
Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and change management processes
Prior experience working in a regulated industry is a strong plus
