Systems Lead Engineer

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Re-IP Acceleration Technical Lead to take on a senior-level role as a Network/Systems Lead Engineer for a major Network Integration (Re-IP) initiative. This is a fully remote contract role with required weekly travel, ideally suited for a principal-level IT Infrastructure Engineer with broad expertise across networking, servers, and end-user device environments.

This position plays a pivotal role in the execution of network re-IP acceleration across enterprise systems, requiring strong leadership and the ability to guide technical teams through standardized procedures and toolsets. You will operate as the primary advisor and infrastructure strategist to ensure smooth and efficient re-IP operations across a large-scale project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead advisor for all re-IP activities, aligning work with the official Re-IP Playbook.

• Provide expert guidance to project SME teams on network, server, and device re-IP methodologies.

• Lead integration efforts across network components, ensuring minimal disruption to services during IP address changes.

• Support and advise the usage of recommended tools critical for NIE (Network Infrastructure Environment) re-IP transitions.

• Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards and project timelines.

• Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues related to re-IP operations.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, ideally in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Deep and comprehensive knowledge in networking, server architecture, and end-user device technologies.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams through complex network transformations.

• Hands-on experience with network re-IP projects or similar large infrastructure transition efforts.

• Familiarity with network integration playbooks, automation tools, and IP address management systems is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and communication capabilities.

• Availability and willingness to travel weekly for project coordination and execution.
