Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Talend Developer with strong experience in Talend Studio for a 6-month onsite contract role based in Thomasville, GA. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to work with complex data extraction and loading operations in a hybrid Oracle and AWS Redshift environment.

As a Talend ETL Developer, your primary responsibility will involve working with large datasets, extracting information from Oracle databases (used as the backend of the IFS ERP system), and loading that data into an AWS Redshift data warehouse via S3 Buckets. The role involves some data transformation, but the core focus will be on efficient and accurate ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Talend Studio.

• Extract structured data from Oracle databases supporting the IFS ERP system.

• Load and manage data flow into AWS Redshift via S3 Buckets.

• Execute routine and ad hoc data loads and monitor ETL job performance.

• Perform minor transformations during the ETL process as needed.

• Collaborate with the data warehouse and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy and security.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL tools, particularly Talend Studio.

• Proficient in extracting data from Oracle databases.

• Experience with data loading into AWS Redshift using S3 Buckets.

• Ability to troubleshoot data loading issues and optimize ETL processes.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based architectures.
