Description:
At UPLVL Agency, the Talent Partnerships Manager is the dealmaker in the room. They're the person who sees a client and immediately thinks "that's a brand deal, that's a speaking stage, that's a collaboration that will level them up." You won't be waiting for opportunities to come to you. You'll be the one creating them. If you're a seasoned partnerships pro who's energized by opening doors for founders and experts who are genuinely changing their industries, and you want to be the one driving the strategy, the relationships, and the deals, this role is for you.
About UPLVL Agency
UPLVL Agency is a boutique public relations firm working with founder-led, expert-driven brands in health, wellness, lifestyle, and finance. Our clients are credentialed experts and CEOs who want meaningful visibility and strategic growth — from top-tier media placements to high-profile brand partnerships, collaborations and speaking opportunities that elevate their entire brand.
Founded by Kayley Hamilton, a two-time Emmy Award–winning journalist and former entertainment news reporter, UPLVL operates with newsroom standards: strong judgment, fast execution, clear communication, and accountability for results. We've been featured in Forbes and Business Insider, and our intentional roster of high-caliber clients is growing quickly.
Our ethos is: kindness, optimism, growth mindset, proactivity, and elite results. We run on positive energy and a supportive team. We hold Monday morning connection calls (group meditation included). We believe the best work comes from people who are genuinely excited about what they do, who take ownership without being told to, and who lead with integrity in every interaction.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
The Role
This is an individual-contributor position with full account ownership. You'll manage talent partnership campaigns for 1-3 clients end-to-end — including strategy, outreach, deal negotiation, speaking bookings, client communication, and results.
You'll collaborate with leadership and our PR team on positioning and big-picture direction, but you're trusted to operate independently day to day. This starts as part-time and contract, with a path to full-time as the division grows.
What You'll Do
Lead client onboarding conversations and ask the right questions to understand each client's goals, dream partnerships, and untapped value
Build customized talent partnership strategies — identifying the right brands, speaking opportunities, advisory roles, brand ambassador relationships, and collaboration formats for each client
Pitch clients proactively to brands, event organizers, media networks, and conference bookers — using your own relationships, not just cold outreach
Negotiate on behalf of clients to secure the best possible deal terms: rate, deliverables, exclusivity windows, and long-term upside
Stay ahead of the talent partnership landscape — knowing which consumer brands are actively investing in expert and creator partnerships, what they're paying, and what they want
Monitor the events calendar in wellness, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle and move quickly to get clients booked on the right stages
Coordinate the full speaking and partnership pipeline: outreach, follow-up, contract coordination, deal prep, and execution oversight
Collaborate with our PR Account Managers to build partnerships that are also press-worthy — deals that become announcements, collaborations that generate media coverage
Deliver polished monthly progress reports and present them to clients via video call
Keep all campaigns organized, proactive, and moving forward in ClickUp and Slack
Who You Are
You have 4–6+ years of experience in talent partnerships, talent or creator representation, influencer marketing, or a closely related field — with a clear track record of closing deals (with examples!)
You have existing contacts inside brand marketing, influencer and creator partnerships, events, and sponsorships at consumer brands — especially in wellness, health, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship
You understand the difference between representing a creator and representing an expert. You know how to price and pitch credentialed professionals — doctors, therapists, researchers, advisors — whose value goes well beyond audience size
You're bold, personable, and persistent. You make the big ask, follow up gracefully, and don't confuse politeness with passivity
You're a skilled negotiator who understands deal structures, rate cards, exclusivity clauses, equity conversations, and how brands think about risk and ROI
You're deeply curious about your clients. You listen carefully, ask a lot of questions, and can articulate their value better than they can themselves
You're organized, responsive, and consistent. Clients and brand contacts trust you because you follow through
You pay keen attention to detail. To demonstrate this, when you apply please tell us the name of one brand you think would be a perfect partnership fit for a longevity expert right now, and why
You're personally passionate about health, wellness, and lifestyle. You know the brands, the events, the founders, and the trends from the inside
Daily use of AI tools (Claude or similar) is a genuine plus. We embrace AI in our workflows
Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and Canva is a bonus
