Tax Accountant

Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced tax preparer. We are a small accounting firm located in Brighton, CO that specializes in small business bookkeeping, payroll and taxes. The work environment is a positive, laid-back atmosphere and we generally work from home.

This is a part-time, seasonal position. The main responsibility will be completing Corporate / Partnership / S-Corp / Schedule C / 1040 returns for small businesses and individuals. The majority of the workload will be during tax season and will taper off through extension deadlines. Nov – January will be quiet.

• $35-$45 Per Hour D.O.E.
• I am looking for someone professional, dependable, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• 5+ years of small business tax prep experience is a must.
• CPA or EA is a must.
• Drake tax software experience is a plus.

We will train you on our internal processes but are only look for candidates that already have extensive tax prep knowledge.
