Tax Director

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the tax function of the organization while supervising (1) Senior Tax Accountant and reporting to the CFO.
• Oversee the compliance function for the organization including, individual, partnership, trusts, estate and S Corporation Tax returns.
• Manage Federal and State Tax audits
• Manage 3rd party relationships with external CPA firms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA or EA required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in public accounting or a family office with an emphasis on taxation.
• Experience with individual, partnership & Trust/Estate taxation
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a collaborative team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
