They are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Manager to take ownership of business and individual tax return preparation, oversee client relationships, and support the firm's goal of helping entrepreneurs achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns (S-Corp, partnership, trust, and individual)

  • Provide proactive tax planning, strategy, and client-facing guidance throughout the year

  • Lead client engagements, maintain communication, and ensure timely deliverables

  • Communicate with the IRS on behalf of clients

  • Conduct tax research and draft technical memorandums as needed

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and performance feedback

  • Contribute to business development, service line expansion, and process improvements

  • Participate in recruiting and team-building initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)

  • CPA license required

  • Minimum 4–5 years in public accounting with demonstrated tax leadership experience

  • Extensive experience with S-Corp, partnership, and individual returns

  • Familiarity with ATX, QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and cloud-based work environments preferred

  • Strong organizational and client management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid, self-directed, and fast-paced environment
