EY, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a Tax Manager within its Financial Services Organization (FSO) – Tax Technology & Transformation practice. This role is designed for professionals passionate about driving innovation, improving tax processes, and delivering advanced technology solutions for financial services clients. With a dedicated FSO business unit, EY partners with institutions across banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, and real estate to reshape the industry and foster trust in global markets.

As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in advising clients on how to optimize the performance of their tax functions. This includes improving operational efficiency, embedding tax into ERP and financial systems, designing custom tax technology applications, and aligning processes with evolving legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects to improve tax function operations, processes, and technology infrastructure.

  • Evaluate controls and risks in existing systems and recommend automation to improve accuracy and data quality.

  • Design and implement custom tax applications and process improvements.

  • Manage quality deliverables, including coordination with offshore teams.

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align tax processes with broader organizational goals.

  • Travel 30–80% of the time depending on client projects and home location.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with tax technology solutions such as CorpTax, ONESOURCE, Sabrix, Vertex, SharePoint, PFI, or RPA tools.

  • Knowledge of ERP and business systems including Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, PAM, Investran.

  • Hands-on experience in developing/implementing custom apps using Visual Studio, VBA/VSTO, SQL Server, or Microsoft PowerBI Suite.
