Tax Manager

This is a hybrid Tax Manager opportunity based in Los Angeles, with 2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote. You’ll have the benefit of in-person collaboration while still enjoying meaningful flexibility.

Responsibilities:

Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth clients.

Lead tax planning and compliance engagements from start to finish.

Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies and planning opportunities.

Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned clients.

Supervise, train, and develop Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Associates.

Review workpapers, returns, and supporting schedules for accuracy and technical quality.

Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, client communication, and internal workflow.

Research federal, state, and local tax matters, including California-specific tax issues.

Collaborate with partners on complex client matters and firm initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

5+ years of public accounting tax experience.

Strong experience reviewing returns and managing tax engagements.

CPA or EA strongly preferred.
