Description:
Under direct supervision of the Director, Alternative Programs. At single or multiple sites, using specialized techniques, provides instruction in identified social and academic areas which meet individual and group needs of students who have been unable to succeed in established elementary and high schools and/or continuation schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Successful candidate must possess a valid California credential or have the ability to secure a California credential. Interns are accepted.

The one. Program has established a CARE classroom at Bear Creek High School, designed to support up to twenty-two (22) 9th-grade students who faced academic challenges in 8th grade. These students are dually enrolled in both the CARE program and Bear Creek High School. The classroom is self-contained, with the teacher responsible for delivering instruction in four core subjects. The teacher will utilize curriculum and technology provided by Bear Creek High School. Building positive relationships with students and their families will be essential to the success of the program.
