Team Lead

 

Description:

 

Responsible for leading the daily inventory accuracy, managing inventory items, performing inventory analysis, and controlling day-to-day inventory operations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the daily cycle counting process to ensure Inventory accuracy against the system.
  • Responsible for making appropriate adjustments based on assigned approval levels.
  • Work with leadership and internal customers to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes across warehouse segments.
  • Periodic review of MRB Inventory with Customer Inventory leader
  • Coach, Lead and support staff while creatively challenging them to use problem solving skills as needed in order to support customer needs.
  • Work with direct leadership and Customer inventory leader on inventory and part location accuracy.
  • Physical Inventory - Ensure cycle count accuracy throughout the year to maintain PI exemption
  • Suggest and participate in the implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement in the accomplishment of supply chain objectives.
  • Work with warehouse management to ensure materials are properly stored and secured in an orderly manner consistent with established company and customer procedures.
  • Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life of hazardous materials
  • Works with warehouse management to ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to support inventory accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Support all Inventory related projects and activities within the organization.
  • Lead Outbound auditing team functions to maintain order accuracy.
  • Work with sourcing alongside the receiving team to troubleshoot and resolve DMTs / OS&Ds

 

Job Requirements:

 

Qualificiations:

 

  • 3 years of Inventory control experience and/or training
  • Advanced knowledge of quality and inventory control processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or finance preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret part specification diagrams.
  • Must have experience with the use of personal computers and advanced excel spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of automated ERP systems and processes (Oracle Preferred)
  • 3 years distribution canter or supply chain analysis
  • Excellent MS Office
  • Qualified applicants (internal and external) must currently possess legal authorization to work in the United States
