Technical Business Analyst

Description:

Collabera, a prominent staffing and professional services firm, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract-to-hire remote position. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional with a strong technical background in internal SaaS products and AI development frameworks.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, document systems, and support the development lifecycle of advanced AI and software platforms. This role will require an understanding of both business needs and technical processes, particularly in modern AI integrations, including prompt workflows and API-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and document business and system requirements.

• Create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and technical documentation.

• Manage and update project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Support internal SaaS tools development (non-customer-facing platforms).

• Assist in documenting AI-related projects, including:

  • API integrations

  • AI prompt workflows

  • Conceptual differences between Agentic AI and Generative AI

• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure timely delivery of projects and alignment with business goals.

• Ensure all documentation aligns with best practices for clarity, version control, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.

• Proven experience with internal SaaS systems and managing technical documentation.

• Strong command of Jira and Confluence project management tools.

• Knowledge of AI development cycles, including API usage and workflows.

• Understanding of Agentic AI vs. Generative AI concepts.

• Ability to write and manage high-quality technical documentation.

• Basic understanding of Python, prompts, and integration workflows (coding not required).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be available to work Central Time Zone hours.
