Technical Lead

Sierra Business Solution is actively seeking a Dell Boomi Lead to join its remote team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced integration expert with a strong background in Dell Boomi, enterprise-level integrations, and technical leadership across large-scale projects.

The Dell Boomi Lead will be responsible for driving the architecture, design, and implementation of complex integrations between on-premises and cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in ETL, iPaaS, API-based integrations, and SOA standards, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop complex integrations using Dell Boomi, including connectors, API management, and Design Center.

• Work across cloud and on-premise applications to create seamless integration flows (cloud-to-cloud, on-prem-to-cloud, and on-prem-to-on-prem).

• Lead a team of developers (onshore and offshore) in delivering scalable integration solutions.

• Conduct technical assessments and feasibility analysis for integration patterns.

• Guide the implementation of integration patterns such as message sequencing, batch processing, and error handling.

• Participate in architecture committee discussions, providing solutions that align with organizational standards and best practices.

• Ensure system security, logging, policy enforcement, and performance monitoring.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive integration solutions.

Technical Expertise Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dell Boomi integration and platform administration.

• Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Boomi projects as a technical lead.

• Strong command over ETL technologies and integration best practices.

• Knowledge of API-based integrations, SOAP/REST, JMS, XML, WSDL, XSD, and microservices architecture.

• Experience with Dell Boomi API management, error handling, and flow execution monitoring.

• Familiarity with integrating Salesforce.com, SAP, databases, and message queues.

• Experience with tools such as Splunk is a plus.

• Capable of leading large development teams across multiple phases and workstreams.

• Experienced in cut-over planning, execution, and post-production support.

• Strong documentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
