Technical Lead

Description:

PTR Global is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead with deep Core Java expertise. The candidate will design, develop, and implement software solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive adoption of innovative technologies. This role requires experience in Agile frameworks, cloud environments, CI/CD, and secure, resilient software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions

• Produce secure, high-quality production code and review/debug peer code

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues

• Lead evaluations of architecture with vendors, startups, and internal teams

• Promote adoption of new technologies across software engineering teams

• Plan, test, debug, and deploy software solutions for infrastructure and operational improvements

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and architects

• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Qualifications & Skills:

• Expertise in Core Java and advanced design techniques

• Experience with large-scale systems across multiple OS and infrastructures

• Proficiency in Agile and software development lifecycle practices

• Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, resiliency, and security

• Proven leadership and team coaching ability

• Familiarity with modern software engineering tools and cutting-edge technologies
