Technical Project Manager

Description:

STAND 8 Technology Consulting, a leading provider of end-to-end IT solutions with offices across the United States and internationally, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support its Unified Platform Project. This position requires a professional with a strong technical foundation, excellent organizational leadership, and the ability to bridge strategy and execution seamlessly. Unlike a product management role, this position focuses solely on delivery, integrations, deployments, and organizational change management, ensuring that engineering initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software engineering workflows, deployment pipelines, and process optimization. This role demands strategic vision paired with tactical agility, making it perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with software engineering teams to manage code deployments, integrations, QA processes, and capacity planning.

• Lead strategic planning and tactical execution to ensure timely and efficient delivery of engineering projects.

• Drive organizational and technical change management, guiding teams through transitions and process improvements.

• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on progress, risks, and dependencies.

• Identify and escalate potential risks or blockers early, ensuring proactive resolution.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing engineering workflows, delivery processes, and deployment efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong engineering background—hands-on coding experience or deep understanding of deployment and platform infrastructures.

• Demonstrated success in change management and technical project delivery.

• Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in the media or broadcast industry is a plus but not required.

Compensation Details:

• Base range: $70–$80 per hour, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
