Technical Translator

Description:

The role involves ensuring linguistic and technical precision in AI-generated content. As a Technical Translator, you will play a vital role in evaluating the accuracy and fluency of AI-generated material across a range of academic and scientific fields. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity with flexible hours, offering an excellent chance to work with cutting-edge AI content.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated text for technical accuracy, logical flow, and conceptual clarity in both Dutch and English.

• Evaluate and validate explanations, reasoning steps, and solutions for correctness and consistency.

• Identify and document translation inaccuracies, scientific errors, or unclear phrasing.

• Ensure that translated materials maintain meaning, terminology, and contextual integrity from the original source.

• Detect and correct language-specific nuances affecting comprehension.

• Provide structured, high-quality feedback to improve the AI model’s language and conceptual accuracy.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch and English.

• A Master’s degree or PhD in any STEM or non-STEM discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in technical translation, scientific writing, curriculum development, or AI content review.

• Proven ability to evaluate both technical and non-technical materials.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

• Experience in annotation, research, or academic analysis.

Engagement Details

• Work Type: Remote & asynchronous (flexible hours)

• Commitment: 15–20 hours per week

• Project Duration: Approximately 2 weeks

• Compensation: $24.50/hr – $45/hr
