Description:

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist I to join its Imaging Services team. The role requires performing diagnostic imaging across multiple specialties in alignment with professional standards, policies, and organizational values, with at least 25% of time spent in a secondary discipline such as CT, MRI, or Vascular Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures while resolving image quality issues.

  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.

  • Prepare equipment, supplies, and select proper imaging parameters.

  • Implement safety standards and conduct quality control checks.

  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.

  • Assist with preparation and administration of contrast media and/or medications as permitted.

  • Continuously monitor patient conditions, respond appropriately, and document findings.

  • Review patient histories and physician orders to ensure accuracy.

  • Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and expectations.

  • Take on-call responsibilities as needed.

  • Accurately charge for supplies used in procedures.

Competencies:
Accountability, Patient Care, Customer Service, Radiation Protection, Image Production and Archival, Patient Positioning, Contrast Media Administration, and Professional Standards of Behavior.

Education & Certifications Required:

  • Accredited Program in Imaging (Required)

  • ARRT Certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License – State of Florida

  • Must obtain ARRT certification in CT, MRI, or Vascular Interventional Radiology within one year of hire

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong critical thinking and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships and exercise decisive judgment.

  • Must be capable of handling physical demands including lifting patients, standing, kneeling, and operating imaging equipment.

  • Exposure to biological hazards, contrast media, radiation, and magnetic fields is expected.

Shift: Evening Shift (Full-time)
