Description:

Mitchell Martin Inc. is hiring a Technology Support Engineer to deliver high-quality IT and AV support to staff and clients in a hybrid role based in West Hampton Dunes, NY. This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on IT experience who can effectively troubleshoot, support, and train users in a fast-paced environment while working with both MacOS and Windows platforms.

The Technology Support Engineer will serve as the first point of contact for all local technology issues, ensuring prompt resolution and providing detailed logging of IT interactions. The ideal candidate must be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and multitasking skills, capable of delivering high-touch support and AV assistance for internal events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional technical support services aligned with standard IT methodologies.

  • Log all user interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system for analysis and reporting.

  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network, and AV issues across operating systems.

  • Serve as the primary contact for all local technology concerns.

  • Provide IT and AV training to users, including during company events like town halls and meetings.

  • Set up and support AV systems for onsite events and presentations.

  • Assist in onboarding new employees and configuring their access and devices.

  • Travel to branch or corporate office locations as required using personal transportation.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an end-user-facing IT support role.

  • Proficiency with both MacOS and Windows OS.

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced support environments.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple technical tasks with strict attention to detail.

  • Must be able to travel to corporate offices as needed with personal transport.

  • Experience with core IT technologies, including productivity tools and web conferencing platforms.

  • Ability to provide AV setup and support during events.
