Responsibilities of the Telecom Designer:

• Lead the design efforts for systems including voice, wireless, CATV/CCTV, security, and data.

• Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and layout designs.

• Conduct construction cost estimation, administration, site visits, and coordination with other disciplines.

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (engineers, designers, drafters) from project initiation to completion.

Requirements of the Telecom Designer:

• Certification: BICSI RCDD certified.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience designing telecommunication systems for new construction and facility upgrade projects.

• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
