As a Temp Clinical Payment Associate, you will play an integral role in supporting clinical vendor outsourcing and payment operations. You will assist in managing contracting administration, vendor payment tracking, and financial coordination activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a proactive and collaborative contributor within the Clinical Vendor Outsourcing team.

  • Support vendor contracting administration, including execution of BUCA responsibilities.

  • Review and analyze invoice and purchase order (PO) trackers from accounting systems (Coupa) for business follow-up.

  • Generate user-friendly reports from system status data for internal review and business use.

  • Maintain and update trackers for contracts, POs, payments, and other relevant financial documentation.

  • Prepare for, participate in, and follow up on vendor and study finance meetings.

  • Execute additional duties as required to meet Clinical Outsourcing and Strategic Transactions (COST) objectives.

  • Contribute to process innovation initiatives within COST by promoting efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Negotiate, prepare, and route non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for execution.

  • Assist with processing, negotiating, and routing other agreement types as requested.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 2 years of clinical/vendor payment experience, preferably in oncology-focused drug development.

  • Proven understanding of the drug development lifecycle.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in innovative and evolving work environments.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using vendor contracting systems or online portals.

  • Familiarity with clinical trial site PO/invoice systems, especially in Ex-US regions.
