As Territory Manager of Distribution you would be responsible for managing the overall brokerage network within your assigned territory. Your tasks would include business development, relationship management, network growth and furthering strategic partnerships. You would need to remain visible in the marketplace, ensuring strong individual and brokerage wide relationships. Your tasks would also include Liaising between brokers and underwriting/sales regarding all touch points with brokers outside of the quoting/binding process.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Maintain current broker relationships and identify areas for potential growth.
  • Assist in managing the pipeline of distribution partners, monitoring key KPIs to track broker performance for assigned territory.
  • Ensure visibility with brokers, to educate them on our product offering and to drive quality submission flow.
  • Drive profitability by leveraging relationships to meet growth goals.
  • Collaborate with underwriting to ensure internal KPIs are met, such as submissions, GWP, submit/quote ratios and quote/bind ratios.
  • Maintain intricate knowledge of the competitive landscape, to ensure awareness of our position in the market.
  • Develop a strong understanding of company offerings and services, such as risk transfer, cyber security and data science.
  • Prospect for strategic partnership opportunities with existing or new brokerage relationships.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • 5-10 years experience in the insurance industry (cyber experience preferred).
  • An established network of broker contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on proactive communication.
  • Driven by a growth mindset.
  • High performing organizational skills and the ability to plan events.
