Territory Sales Manager

 

Description:

USP Technologies, a leader in innovative peroxygen technologies and chemical treatment programs for water, wastewater, air, and soil purification, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and maintain long-term client relationships across the Ohio Valley region.

This role combines strategic sales development, technical expertise, and client relationship management. The Territory Sales Manager will report to the Regional Business Manager and will be responsible for both new business acquisition and customer retention, while leading account support teams to foster continued success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and deliver USP’s value proposition.

  • Identify, prospect, and engage key decision makers across municipal water and wastewater sectors.

  • Manage and expand existing accounts while cultivating new business opportunities.

  • Present tailored proposals, conduct negotiations, and achieve revenue growth targets.

  • Support customers with technical expertise, including occasional fieldwork, sampling, and data analysis.

  • Collaborate with technical staff and management to craft effective retention and growth strategies.

  • Troubleshoot site-specific technical issues to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Lead account teams as revenues grow, maintaining a focus on new business development.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 5–7 years in municipal water/wastewater treatment and chemical technology applications.

    • Strong record of generating revenue while managing and expanding account portfolios.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build long-term client relationships.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, travel-intensive role (~50%).


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 annually (≈ $8,333 – $12,500 monthly).

  • Commission: Highly competitive uncapped commission structure.
