Territory Sales Manager

 

Description:

Blue Square Manufacturing, a leading swimming pool equipment manufacturer, is seeking a driven and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join its expanding sales team. This position will cover the North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana territories, focusing on building strong relationships with pool builders, service companies, and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both sales and technical or engineering-based products, along with proven success in driving business development within the pool industry. Candidates with established industry contacts, particularly in the service trade and pool equipment distribution, will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (TX, OK, AR, LA) to train and support pool builders, service providers, and distributors.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns resolved promptly.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify effective strategies for increasing sales.

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand market share.

  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and services.

  • Ensure strong brand awareness across the assigned region.

  • Demonstrate and present products to clients, highlighting key features and advantages over competitors.

  • Conduct market analyses to evaluate customer requirements, volume potential, and competitive pricing trends.

  • Collaborate with customer service, technical service, engineering, and other departments to enhance customer experience and product improvements.

  • Maintain an updated database of key accounts and contacts using CRM systems such as HubSpot.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in the pool industry.

  • Strong network and established connections in the pool service trade and distribution channels.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.

  • Effective communication and customer service abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach.

  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time (day trips and overnight stays).

  • Candidates located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area will be given preference.
