Territory Sales Manager

 

Description:

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join their sales team. In this role, you will manage a designated sales territory and drive business growth by developing customer relationships, acquiring new accounts, and supporting existing clients. You will represent Cornerstone’s high-quality surface solutions, focusing on sales development, account management, and customer satisfaction.

This position is remote but requires heavy travel (over 50%) to engage with customers, conduct sales meetings, and attend trade shows. You will play a crucial role in executing the company’s sales strategies while providing both pre-sales and post-sales support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing accounts while prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities.

  • Execute company sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales quotas.

  • Provide exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support to customers.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities within the territory.

  • Create customized proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Develop strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and contractors in the building materials industry.

  • Participate in sales promotions, customer meetings, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

  • Evaluate pricing and make recommendations within company guidelines.

  • Gather competitive intelligence on products, pricing, and industry trends.

  • Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and territory analyses for management.

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain accurate customer profiles and sales records.

  • Deliver AIA (American Institute of Architects) presentations as needed.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience in the building products industry.

  • In-depth understanding of construction materials, distribution, and dealer channels.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer engagement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to travel frequently (50% or more).
