Training & Development Specialist

 

Description:

This posting represents a multi-level posting and will be used to fill two (2) positions. This position serves as part of the Workforce Development team within Human Resources Management and provides training, coaching, and workforce development services to employees, supervisors and managers within the MN Department of Health. The position will lead selected projects of department-wide scope, including training needs assessment, training development, delivery and facilitation, Train the Trainer sessions, and customized training, facilitation, or planning sessions in support of the department’s mission to protect, maintain, and improve the health of all Minnesotans

In order to qualify, applicants must meet the criteria designated to the level at which they are applying for. These include:

Training & Development Specialist 1 - Must meet one of the following:

  • Training and experience in the use of needs assessment, training methods, adult learning, training evaluations and measurement
  • Experience with learning management system or other similar tracking/reporting software
