Treatment Coordinator

Description:

Smile Brands Inc., a leading network of over 650 dental practices across 28 states, is looking for a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to join its Oakland, CA team. This role plays a vital part in shaping positive patient experiences through the company’s signature G3 approach – Greeting, Guiding, and Gratitude.

As a Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as the welcoming face of the practice, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their dental care journey. You’ll also coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and assist with financial arrangements for treatment plans — making sure every patient interaction reflects Smile Brands’ commitment to “Smiles For Everyone®.”

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting:

• Create a warm, welcoming environment for every patient upon arrival.

• Provide professional and friendly greetings, setting a positive tone for their visit.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-office atmosphere.

2. Guiding:

• Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.

• Verify insurance coverage, process documentation, and manage patient files accurately.

• Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the provider’s time.

• Guide patients through available services, treatment options, and financial plans with transparency and empathy.

3. Gratitude:

• Express appreciation to every patient for choosing Smile Brands for their dental care.

• Maintain a respectful, professional demeanor with all patients and team members.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative office culture.

Schedule:

• Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Tuesday / Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a dental, healthcare, or front-office administrative role.

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with insurance processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

• Professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $23 – $25 per hour (approx. $3986 – $4333 per month).
