Turnaround Planner

Description:

CB&A Project Management Services, LLCCB&A is looking for a TURNAROUND PLANNER with 5+ years planning experience in chemical, refining or similar industry. The Turnaround (TAR) Planner provides detailed work plans that comply with all applicable procedures, policies, and codes to insure the protection of the environment and the health and safety of employees and the community in which we operate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide high quality, detailed work plans with attention to detail that will ensure efficient craft work.

• Plan work in SAP for crafts in the assigned units.

• Continually look for opportunities to reduce cost through process improvements

.• Requisition equipment, material and services per plant specifications and detailed procedures for all planned work, as requested

.• Become knowledgeable of the Management of Change (MoC) process and Integrity Management (IM) procedures. Do not plan any changes without an approved MoC.

• Develop Bills of Material (BOM’s) and update as needed.

• Be an expert SAP user.

• Assist with scope identification and development for TAR work.

• Support field execution of TAR work and provide planning assistance for scope changes.

• Provide planning and estimating expertise for development of detailed TAR execution plan.

• Assist with work pack generation for each TAR job assigned.

• Establish and agree on man-hours/labor and material budget with TAR Contractor(s)

.• Planning pre/post shutdown activities.• Obtain quotes for services and materials
