Description:

Burgeon IT Services is seeking a highly skilled IWS/TWS Administrator for a long-term onsite contract position in Franklin, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the IBM/Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) environments to ensure seamless job scheduling and overall system performance. This role involves collaboration with application teams, maintaining access controls, and optimizing workload operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and apply patches to Tivoli/IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) environments.

• Configure and manage job schedules, including defining dependencies and recovery actions.

• Utilize Dynamic Workload Console, Dynamic Agents, and Fault Tolerant Agents for job management.

• Monitor job execution and performance, taking steps to optimize job flow.

• Collaborate with various application teams for setup, coordination, and support of job execution.

• Administer access control and user permissions for secure operations.

• Apply basic AWS knowledge (including EC2, ALB, and Security Groups) to support cloud-based operations.

• Work within ITIL frameworks, managing incident and change processes effectively.

Required Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with IBM/Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS).

• Strong understanding of job scheduling tools and workload automation concepts.

• Exposure to AWS infrastructure, particularly EC2 instances, ALB, and Security Group configurations.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly incident and change management processes.
