Ui/ux Design Consultant

Description:

ECLARO is seeking a UI/UX Design Consultant for a client, a major mutual life insurance company offering long-term care insurance, mutual funds, and retirement-plan services across the US. This role will drive the evolution of the corporate website as a core digital strategy tool, enhancing lead generation and audience engagement.

Position Overview:

• Deliver high-performing digital experiences connecting with audiences.

• Lead web design initiatives on corporate site and campaign pages.

• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create strategic, on-brand design solutions.

• Report to Head of Web Strategy and Operations.

• Create visually compelling, responsive web pages and interactive elements including light animations.

• Ensure cohesive, polished web experiences aligned with brand vision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee website design and UX.

• Establish and document web visual identity and UX standards; ensure consistent application.

• Maintain and grow the design system for scalability and cohesion.

• Design responsive web pages enhancing user experience and brand identity.

• Develop interactive elements and light animations (CSS animations, Ceros).

• Collaborate with developers for design fidelity in code implementation.

• Produce wireframes, user flows, and information architecture.

• Provide UX/UI direction to junior designers and web team members.

• Conduct user testing and A/B testing to optimize design outcomes.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of web/digital design experience with a strong portfolio of responsive and visually compelling work.

• Proficient with design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (5+ years experience).

• Strong understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout).

• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

• Solid grasp of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices.

• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design frameworks.

• Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, light JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.

• Experience creating light animations or interactive elements.

• Experience with corporate websites.

• Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Financial Services industry experience.

• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Hotjar, or similar.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $91.31 per hour
