Raas Infotek is seeking an experienced and visionary UI/UX Design Lead to join their client’s team in San Antonio, TX, on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, and the ability to deliver high-quality, innovative design solutions that meet business objectives. The UI/UX Design Lead will manage a team of designers, drive the design vision, and ensure consistent, user-friendly experiences across all platforms.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a UI/UX design team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into design strategies, and create effective design solutions. The position involves developing wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts, conducting user research and usability testing, and incorporating feedback to refine the designs.

In addition, the UI/UX Design Lead will mentor junior designers, fostering their skills and professional growth. Staying informed about latest industry trends, tools, and best practices is critical to continuously enhancing the design process and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality designs on time.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and align design solutions with business goals.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts to effectively communicate design ideas.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather actionable feedback for design improvements.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers for their professional growth.

• Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide a design team effectively.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in user research, persona creation, and usability testing.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred).

• Attention to detail and creativity in delivering visually appealing and functional designs.
