Hammerhead Security Solutions is actively building a Standby & Call-In Security Team to provide flexible coverage across diverse sites, including commercial facilities, residential properties, healthcare centers, and special events. This is a unique opportunity designed for experienced security officers, part-time workers, or individuals seeking extra hours in the security industry.

As a Standby Security Guard, you will join a roster of professionals available to fill shifts as they become available. Successful guards on this roster often receive priority consideration for permanent, full-time assignments. This role emphasizes reliability, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to different environments at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to call-in opportunities and provide unarmed security coverage at designated sites.

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence to ensure the safety of property, staff, and visitors.

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and the Scheduling Team.

• Adapt to varying site requirements including commercial, residential, healthcare, and event locations.

• Follow company protocols and site-specific security procedures.

• Ensure accurate reporting of incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Skills and Requirements:

• Valid security guard credentials or licensing (or ability to obtain).

• Previous security experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills.

• High level of reliability and readiness to respond to short-notice shift requirements.

• Ability to adapt quickly to diverse environments and responsibilities.
